No town ban or permit for metal detecting (the Wrightsville Beach code has no detector provision). Digging: fill every hole, trench or depression completely before leaving the beach strand (Sec. 92.17). Dunes: cross only on an existing path or permitted walkway going to or from the ocean; no playing or climbing on the dunes (Sec. 92.33).
