No town ban or permit for metal detecting (the Pine Knoll Shores code has no detector provision). Digging: fill every hole, trench or depression completely before leaving the beach strand (Sec. 46-23(g)). Dunes: no walking on, playing on, climbing or excavating the frontal dunes (Sec. 46-26). No glass, fires or camping on the beach (Sec. 46-23).
