Palm Beach County Code Sec. 21-20(b): metal detecting is prohibited in county parks EXCEPT at oceanfront beach parks between the dune and the high-tide mark, and only outside turtle nesting season (Mar 1–Oct 31) — so Nov–Feb only. No digging tools without director approval; no removing artifacts.
