No detector ban exists in the code, but Clayton Sec. 66-6 (Prohibited acts) makes it unlawful to deface, displace or remove park property and to 'damage, cut, carve, transplant, or remove any tree or plant or any part thereof,' which bars recovery digging that damages turf or vegetation. Sweeping itself is not addressed; confirm with Parks and Recreation.
